Pontoon Rental REQUIREMENTS:
*You Must be 21 to Rent.
*NC requires Operators born on/after 1/1/1988 to complete a Boater Safety Course (from any state); safety course options @ NCWILDLIFE.
*The Town of Lake Lure REQUIRES boat drivers to review the Lake Lure Boater Safety Course and pass a short quiz here.

- Must be 21 to Rent. If born on/after 1/1/1988 Boater Safety Required.
- DO NOT OVERLOAD: Balance Weight Front-Back & Left to Right.
- OBEY NO WAKE; In All Coves, Marina & Areas Marked with Buoys.
- No Boat Operation Dusk til Dawn!
- Stay 75 Feet Away from Boats, Yield to Non-Motorized Vessels.
- Children Under 13 Must Wear a Personal Floatation Device (PFD).
- We Love Pets...bring them ($25 Cleaning Fee Applies).
- No Towing Allowed From Any Rental Boat (tubes, skiers, boards etc).
- Seats (Use as Intended): Sit Down & Close Gates; NO Riding Outside Rails; No Sitting at Bow with Feet Dangling; NO Standing on, Jumping or Diving from Seats or Seat Back-Rests.
- NO Open Container of Fortified Wine, Liquors or Mixed Alcoholic Beverages.
- NO Smoking, No Drugs, No Operation by Anyone Impaired.
- NO Beaching the Boats, Mind PROP in Shallow Water.
- NO Trespassing. Stay off Private Property.
- Do Not Pull On or Step On the Steering Cable (near ladder).
- DO NOT SHIFT THROTTLE From Forward to Reverse or Vice Versa Without a PAUSE in NEUTRAL, Damage to the Engine Incurs.
- TURN OFF ENGINE While Swimming, Retract Swim Ladder Before Operation.
- Personal Property: Take it with you, Not Responsible for Left Items.
